A month or so ago, I got an offer from CSN Stores to do a product review and I got this office chair. So far, I'm really enjoying it.

It's simple in design but practical. The height is adjustable so I can use it at my current computer desk and when I get the new place, I can change the height for my new desk as well.

I usually prefer arms in an office chair and this model doesn't have that feature; however, that's not necessarily a bad thing. My best friend has a bigger chair with arms and cannot scoot all the way up to her desk at work because they hit the edge of the desk and she can't adjust the chair to a comfortable height where she can scoot all the way up. I haven't had any such problems with this chair.

It's definitely not the super deluxe model, but it takes care of the job and is holding up very well so far.
Between blogging and surfing the net, I've spent hours at a time in this chair and its stood up to the unique abuse of two cats.
All in all, I'm impressed and I'll be hanging onto it for as long as it will last.

When it comes to film, I'm a bit of a snob and generally try to keep my opinions to myself (well on the internet, I keep my opinions to myself, I'm sure my friends get tired of my critiques). I must, however, make an exception for the new film, Despicable Me.

I cannot boast enough about this film. I think I've mentioned it to two or three people per day since I saw it this past weekend. It was a tiny bit slow to start off but once it got going, I couldn't stop laughing. There was one scene where I literally laughed so hard I was crying and couldn't breathe. I finally got myself under control and about fifteen minutes later, I thought about that scene, and started laughing uncontrollably again.
Steve Carell is lovable as Gru, an evil mastermind who's not that successful and his little minions (the yellow guys) are too funny. I'll leave it to you to figure out what they really are.

Perhaps the best part of the movie, however, has nothing to do with Gru or his adorable, yellow friends, but lies with the three little girls Gru takes in to help him, namely the little one, Agnes.
She reminds me of a more grown up Boo from Monsters, Inc. that you can actually understand. It was during her scenes that I laughed the most.

I'll admit, I'm a tride and true Pixar girl, but Illumination Entertainment really knows their stuff when it comes to animation. The visual effects were stunning and I can only imagine how cool it looked in 3D.
Anywho, I'll quit my rambling and ask only that you see the movie if you get the chance. I don't think you'll be sorry.

Since becoming a couponer, I am proud to admit that I've cut down tremendously on impulse buying and I like to think that this has made me more of a minimalist but I know I've got a long way to go on that one.

Even though I have gotten better at buying something without giving it much thought, I still fall into the trap every now and again. I have a problem when shopping with friends that aren't quite as discerning as I am. I was almost sick yesterday when I saw something at Target I purchased a couple of months ago (and have used once) go on clearance for like 50% off. Fortunately, that's my only major blunder in several months.

Here are a few questions I ask myself before making a purchase (even if it's a good deal):
1. Will I use it and how often?
2. Do I have somewhere to put it?
3. Do I already have something that fills this void/need?
4. How many places can I wear it? (If it's clothes)
5. Do I have the extra money?
6. Could that money be used toward something I need more?

Thanks to these questions, I've talked myself out of a ton of stuff that I don't need and have no where to put.

I'm pretty sure it's going to make shopping a lot easier. I decided to share this week and will hopefully be able to do so each week. Here are copies of what I got this week from P&G.
