One way to cash in on things that you buy anyway is to join rewards programs. Sure, you spend money on the items (or maybe if you're lucky, you don't sometimes), but you can get a tiny percentage back if the company has a rewards program. Here are some good ones:
My Coke Rewards. You get 3 points for bottles and 20 points for a box of cans. Add up your points and trade them in for more coke products, magazine subscriptions, even mixing bowls.
Stoneyfield Rewards. If you're a big yogurt eater, you can earn rewards toward more yogurt and "green goods" by signing up.
Tropicana Rewards. Drink Tropicana and earn points for everything from sweepstakes to discounted rates on travel destinations.
Disney Movie Rewards. Aside from My Coke Rewards, I use this one most often. The best part about this rewards program is that you don't really have to buy a lot of Disney stuff to get points. They release free codes for anywhere from five to fifty points. I grab the free ones when they come along and am just saving the points until I see something I like.
Pampers Gifts to Grow. They've just extended this one until 2012. Find points on the inside of the diaper packages and redeem them for baby stuff.
Shop Your Way Rewards Kmart/Sears. Though not necessarily an online rewards program, you do earn a point for every dollar you spend at Kmart and Sears. That doesn't seem like a lot, but if you're shopping there anyway, it's worth it. Also, you get special Catalinas at Kmart and chances to win products they carry each time you use your card.
What others am I missing out on?
