Any Whiskey drinkers out there? I ran to the liquor store to grab a bottle of Crown this afternoon and found a peelie on the shelf. You can get a $10 mail in rebate if you buy the really big bottle or if you get two of the smaller ones. I'm excited! $10 back and I'll have enough Whiskey to last quite a while! Never know when you'll need a drink over the holidays, hehe.

Recently, I've found a bunch of ways to earn money for Christmas presents and for free stuff for myself throughout the rest of the year. Check out some of these ways to snag free presents that your friends and family want.

1. Survey Sites
Many of the surveys are time consuming, but if you spend just 15-20 mins. each day answering surveys, the money can really add up. Visit the sites below to get started:
Pinecone Research-My favorite!
SurveyHead.
Valued Opinions
Lightspeed Panel
Toluna

2. MTurk
I love MTurk! It's a pretty simple idea. You do things that other people don't feel like doing for pennies here, dimes there. All of the money adds up until you convert it into Amazon.com credit! So far, I've converted over $20. Combined with the gift cards I get from the survey sites, I can get some pretty cool stuff from the greatest website ever. Visit MTurk for details.

3. Swagbucks
Everyone has been jumping on this band wagon. I was skeptical at first, but a couple of months later, I've saved over $20 in, you guess it, Amazon Gift Cards. Combined with the Mturk and survey money, I've almost got enough for a present for the brother I've been eyeing. Visit Swagbucks to start searching.

4. Game Show Network
Sign up at GSN.com for daily oodletunities! Play games and spin the Wonder Wheel to win oodles that you can trade for stuff!

5. My Coke Rewards
Anyone in the family a Coke drinker? Visit My Coke Rewards to get 3 points per bottle and 10 points per 12 pack of cans. There are many prizes under 200 points including various magazine subscriptions (which make for great gifts!).

Got any other ideas? Please let me know.

Read It Forward is giving away copies of the debut novel by Therese Walsh.

From Amazon-->From Publishers Weekly
Walsh's satisfying novel follows Maeve Leahy, a brilliant young professor, in her pursuit for answers about her family and herself. When she impulsively bids on a keris—an ancient Javanese dagger—at an auction house, Maeve's orderly life spins out of control. Anonymous notes appear on her office door, with provocative hints about the origins of the keris, unleashing memories of Maeve's onetime musical ambitions and the loss of her twin, Moira. When a note urges Maeve to visit Rome, her best friend, Kit, persuades her to go. There she finds Noel, her rakish love interest, who is trying to solve his own family's mysteries. He helps Maeve navigate the bewildering questions and characters in Rome while making his romantic ambitions clear, much to Maeve's indignation and secret fascination. Walsh ably shifts between Maeve's current quest and flashbacks showing the twins as children, revealing little by little the story behind Maeve's grief. While Maeve sometimes comes across as self-involved—even for a woman on a personal quest—Walsh's pleasing blend of mystery, romance and the supernatural is enough to keep readers rooting for the heroine. If you ever get something malicious on your computer that you just can't seem to get rid of, I have a probable solution, ComboFix.
So, there's a story. Isn't there always? Work last week was a nightmare! We had major computer problems and I spent 7 consecutive hours on the phone with various tech supports one day and an hour and a half the next day before finally resolving the problem. Our tech guy is a super dude, so that made it better. Thought I was done...wrong! I come home to a major problem on the home PC on Saturday.
After five days of not being able to run various cleaners, I found an article about ComboFix, which is one of the many tools my awesome tech guy used to fix our work problems. Downloaded it and installed it, and *cross my fingers*, so far, it's done far more than anything else. It replaced a couple different directories and I can finally use MalwareBytes to fix the rest. Thank you ComboFix and awesome tech guy! :)
I can have a life outside of broken technology for a little bit, hehe.

Tuna has become my friend as there have been many coupons lately making it free or super cheap. I did a modified version of the Tuna wraps on the back of the Bumble Bee pouch today as I am out of wraps.
I spread out nacho chips on a plate, tore up some lettuce and threw on some shredded cheese. I added salsa to the top and threw on one pouch of the Bumble Bee Tuna (2.5 oz). It was like Tuna taco nachos! It was actually really good (I left out the black beans) and I would have taken a picture, but I ate it too fast, hehe.
It's quick and easy and very cheap (the best part).

Icee Points are back! This time, they're Winterish in nature. Prizes include an ICEE hoodie, travel mug, scarf and fleece blanket (I've gotten this before-it's super soft!) among other things.
If you ever pick up a 32 oz. Icee at the movies, a convenience store, etc. then you can cut the points out and trade them in for cool stuff.
Unfortunately, this time there's a $6 shipping charge for each point redemption, so save them all up and order them in one full swoop.
Prizes and redemption form can be found at icee.com.

Not sure if this router is just coming down in price everywhere, but you can snag the Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G Broadband Router at Amazon for only $27.99! We have this router at work. I got it at Walmart a month or two ago for almost $50. It works really well and we haven't encountered any problems with it.
I've been needing a second router for a while and now that Netflix is PS3 compatible, it will come in handy.

Need a free workout that works? Don't we all! I am lucky enough to get a free Shape subscription. Before the freebie, I had never really paid much attention to the publication, but I now love it! Since I started receiving it a couple months ago, I've read it from cover to cover. The current month's issue has a simple, yet effective, workout to keep you fit and thin. It doesn't require any fancy equipment. It's a 30 minute workout and so far, I've worked my way up in the last couple of weeks to minute 11 before quitting and opting for Wii Boxing for a half hour, haha! Here's the regiment and let me know if you try it out!
Time (in minutes-starts at 0 and goes to 30)
0-2 march/jog in place
2-3 jumping jacks
3-4 pushups
4-5 crunches
5-7 three part roundhouse kick
7-9 jump rope (or jump in place)
9-11 throw punches
11-13 jump rope
13-15 bear crawl/crab walk
15-25 repeat minutes 5-15
25-26 crunches
26-27 pushups
27-28 jumping jacks
28-29 crunches
29-30 march in place

It's harder than it looks, trust me.

Current workout playlist:
I Hate Myself for Loving You-Joan Jett
Scream-Michael Jackson
Switch-Will Smith
Smooth Criminal-Alien Ant Farm
Lose Yourself-Eminem
Stronger-Brittany Spears
Let it Rock-Kevin Rudolf
Danger Zone-Kenny Loggins

Please share your workout songs too! :)

Harris Teeter, as you may well know, is doing triple coupons this week. If you still have the $0.55/3 Renuzit Adjustables that expires on 11/30 you can combine it with the Buy Two Get One Free Coupon from today's smart source insert!
The total after using the Buy Two Get one coupon is $1.94. After the other coupon is tripled, you pay just $0.29 for three. These would be great in a Christmas gift basket!

My favorite day of the month is triple coupon day! And the best part? It goes on all week. I'm off on Sunday, so I'll probably try to get up and head back over there with new coupons. Not too many awesome sales going on in my little part of the world this week, but I did find some good stuff.

The two VIVA paper towel rolls were around $0.10 each.
The two Tuna pouches were about $0.19 each
The Joy is on sale for $0.99 and after the $0.30/1 coupon, they were $0.10 each
The Dawn was $0.24 each after the $0.25/1 coupons
The Yakisob noodles were supposed to be $0.99 but were BOGO @ my store, so I used 2 of the $0.50/1 coupons and got both plus two more free.
The cat treats were $0.17 each after the $0.50/1 coupons.
Original total: $31.37
I spent: 3.01
90% Savings!

I've been waiting over a month for this: Triple coupons at Harris Teeter!
For the most comprehensive list, visit The Coupon Teacher. I found a couple more listed below:

Joy Liquid Dish Detergent (the little one) - $0.99
use the $0.30/1 MF from a couple weeks ago
$0.09

Bumble Bee Tuna single serve pouch Albacore - $1.79
use the $0.55/1 from the 9/13 SS insert
$0.14
Some places have the pouches for $1.29 making them free

VIVA Big Roll Paper Towels - $2.65
use the $0.85/1 MF from 10/11 SS insert
$0.10
Some places have these for $2.49 making them free

Whiskas Temptations - $2.50
It takes $0.83 off with your VIC Card
Use $0.50/1 MF indoor or all naturals (can't remember the week, sorry)
$0.17 each

Yakisob Noodles - $1.29
The sign said these were on sale for $.99 but when I got to the register she said they were BOGO and gave me one of the coupons back, so I got both for free. Check your store and if you have two of the $0.50/1 coupons, you can get four of these for free!

Got any more deals? Please leave me a comment or a link. Thanks!

I got off work early last night, so I came home and scoured all the blogs and sites for deals at Target and Walmart. I ended up making three stops today (threw in Kmart for some makeup I've been needing).
Here's how I did:
Least impressive deal-->Walmart.

If you can avoid WalMart on the first of the month, please do. However, today was my day off, so I work with what I can.
I got the All Purpose sauce free. The Soy Milk was $0.56 after coupons and each floss was $0.22 each after coupons.
I had a coupon for the Morton's Seasoned Salt which made it $0.38.
The total before coupons was like $16 something (the receipt doesn't help me on that) and I only paid 3.82 with tax, so 76% savings. Not too bad.

Cheap Makeup stop: Kmart

The foundation I use is usually around $8. It was $8.50 at Kmart and though my Kmart doesn't ever double coupons, they were running a buy one get one 50% off sale, so I got both foundations. I also had a coupon from this last week that if you buy a foundation, you get a free product and I used the $2.50/2 coupon from this last week.
Original Price of everything: $21.97
I paid: 7.62 (less than the price of ONE foundation)
Savings: 65% savings.

Most impressive (and first) stop: TARGET! I *heart* Target

I did the GE deal you can find out about here.
I got the travel-sized All detergent with the printable and the Renu travel sized with the printable. The batteries were free (in the dollar spot) with last weekend's coupons (or was it week before last?), and I still had the $1.60/1 printable on the nut clusters and thanks to the YoPlus giveaway, I got the yogurt for free. The chap stick was regular price, but thanks to overages, not so much.
Original Total: $27.55
I paid: $0.56
Savings: 98%
I even had one more $1/1 coupon for the light bulbs but with the other free plus overage stuff, she couldn't use it because then she would have owed me money back, haha!
Love Target shopping.
:)
I spent $12 total today for what would have totaled over $100!

I had an awesome giveaway week!
I got all the cleaning stuff in a dorm kit that I won from the lovely Mommies With Cents
AND!
The Yoplait Plus gift pack from the awesome Living Rich With Coupons.
I also got a coupon for a free bottle of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce (got it at Walmart today) and samples from Garnier.
Pretty sweet week.
